I do hope you all enjoy the special feature of this map, which is the built-in animations. In pretty much all other previous HG maps, I never had the feeling of interacting with the map, but rather just kinda strolling through a non-changeable scenic world searching for chests. I feel that animations bring in another element of life into maps like this. Also, how many other places in minecraft have you seen in-game animations like this?

What minecraft lacks currently is the elements of the atmosphere. Unless you use a mod, there is no wind in minecraft. it rains on the whole world, instead of in pockets like in the real world. the only things that move are entities, even the sands and gravel become entities when they fall.

Origianlly meant to be a 1.8 map, it was postponed to a 1.10 map instead due to updates. building this map was much easier in 1.10 than 1.8 or 1.9. Also, new blocks from 1.10 and 1.9 allowed for some better smaller details.

This map also features more animations that it first lets on. the only ones that currently work are those activated by hand. There are more built-in, but because they continuously loop they have been left off for now. If there is enough desire by the community, I will see if c0wg0d is willing to turn the remaining animations on, however there is no guarantee. These animations are merely asthetic, and its quite possible it won't be allowed because of lag, but they make the map feel soo much more alive. If you want these turned on, simply reply by saying you do.

The one I really want to see is the windmill.
