It means you are using the wrong Minecraft version. Which one are you using? The Sandlot currently supports 1.12.2, 1.15.2, and 1.16.1.
Ah, thanks for the help! It says I'm using 1.16.2. How do i change it back? Edit: I think i figured it out actually, but still thanks.
Go to your minecraft launcher. Next to the “play” button on the top leftish portion, there should Be a button that says “installations”. Click that, and there should be an option for “create new installation”. Here you can choose which version to use. Save that installation and go back to the play screen. Next to the green “play” button on the bottom (this is different than the original button I mentioned before) there should be an option to pick which version of Minecraft you want to play. Your saved installation should be something either 1.15.2 or 1.16.1. Choose that, and then hit play.
