By popular request we are bringing back Hard Teams for the Holidays, new and improved! Come join everyone in a special Holiday themed world that isn't quite as Hard as usual and join with others on your team to build big things, do Achievements (AACH) to get points for your team and just have fun with everyone. Yes you can even have fun with people NOT on your team! Note: Team Leaders must decide if they want to share any big Auto-farms that are made by their teams. Please post clear signs saying whether farms are Public or Team Only - either are OK! At a minimum we should have an automated team scoring system, more improvements are TBD. We will NOT have separate team chat channels because we decided it's just way more fun for an event when everyone is chatting together. You can expect snow and ice and christmas trees and holiday structures (giant candy canes etc) and who knows what else. There will be four teams you can choose from, tentatively named: Team Santa! Team Elf! Team Frosty! Team Grinch! (will be yellow font) You WILL be allowed to change teams if you have a good reason, but if you do the points you earn with one team will NOT transfer to your new team, only new achievement scores will be awarded to the new team. As before scores are based on AACH reward amounts not AACH count. Remember: this is intended to be a FUN competition, NOT a "beat the other team at all costs" kind of thing. We're all friends here! I have a question... if someone in our team looses a point, will everyone in that team will loose a point?
All points, positive and negative, are counted toward the team score for the team you're on. So if you lose a point, the team loses that point. But I wouldn't worry about that!
Will we get permission to do /sethome, /home, /tpa <player name> and /back In the Hard Teams like what we did last time?
I heard this question during the last teams event, but never heard the answer: Does EVERY death cause a loss of points, or just the first 5, 10, 20, etc deaths?
this sounds fun! Will there be a change to the cap for adding people to a forums conversation? I remember last round our team hit a limit and it made it hard to add the later-joining members in time for them to be part of the planning.

I have decided to create private sub-forums for each team under the Hard Survival forum rather than rely on private forum conversations. If you have chosen a team, you should see a badge on your profile stating which team you are on, as well as a private forum at the top of the Hard Survival main forum page where you can make new posts and reply to existing posts. If you don't see the forum, try logging out of forums and back in. If you still don't see it, let a moderator know and we'll get it fixed.
