On my screen I’m a Steve. But not on others. I’ve tried relogging, changing my skin, restarting my computer, restarting my Minecraft, and changing my settings. However, none of this works. If i go into tab or f5, im a Steve/alex. However, If i look up my skin or ask someone else, i have a skin. How can i fix this?
Try logging on to Sandlot and going to the lobby, maybe. It might update your skin... not sure. Double-check that you uploaded a skin and did not accidentally reset your skin. Is this in-game only, or also on forums? Sorry, just ideas, I’m not completely sure.
MickeyHeart, I understand the struggle. Maybe your internet connection isn't working well enough. This has happened to me multiple times It should work if you log on tomorrow. Anyways It isn't a very big deal to not have a skin. I hope this post helped!
Mojang has a global skin server where all skins are saved and loaded. Everyone defaults to either Steve or Alex until the game client or website can download the skin. With this type of architecture, there are many connections: Mojang Skin Server <-> Mojang's ISP <-> Your ISP <-> Your computer Mojang Skin Server <-> Mojang's ISP <-> Your ISP <-> Sandlot's ISP <-> Sandlot Server Mojang Skin Server <-> Mojang's ISP <-> Sandlot's Website ISP <-> Sandlot Forums If any of those connections have problems, that's when you will see Steve or Alex. It's almost always temporary and you just have to wait a bit for the skins to work. Things you can try: Check the skin server status here: https://help.mojang.com/ Restart Minecraft Restart your Minecraft launcher Re-upload your skin or upload a new one Have patience and embrace the Steve/Alex skin
