Things are now coming back online. Many of you will likely need to reset your DNS resolver cache in order to connect. Try it first, and if it doesn't work, do this: On Windows: http://www.picohelp.com/1355/how-to-flush-dns-cache-on-windows-7-windows-8-xp-and-vista.html On Mac: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5343 Please note that the maps for easy and normal are still currently down. They will be made available when they are ready. Thank you for your patience.
Re: Server Offline Distributed Denial of Service, bringing an internet service down, by spamming the service.
Re: Server Offline bighat threatened to take down the server, I guess he succeeded! Now be aware of any haxian code he may have put into the system while it is down!!!
Re: Server Offline A DDoS attack can also happen to the company that runs the server. I would guess the one that runs Sandlot is fairly big.
Re: Server Offline If this server is run by Enjin, the biggest server runner in the world, I would suppose that someone would either Denial of Service Enjin for being mad at them or just being mad at a single server because maybe they died or were banned and wanted to get them back and wanted to take Enjin down with them.
Re: Server Offline O.O thanks for letting me know. i thought i was banned or my minecraft wasn't working or something. Thanks again cheracc
