can't fix enchanted axe, anvil won't work, not even new anvil

hi, i'm trying to fix an enchanted axe, i have iron XP, and a new anvil. won't work help?

No, that doesn't work for me. Only lower value enchantments work at all (of course using the item instead of the material reduces the xp requirement so can sometimes work).

Combining enchantments to create high powered bows and armor no longer works either. Using books still works however.

All in all, the reduced functionality of anvils makes life in Semi-Vanilla pretty difficult.

 

yep, i agree. i've tried combining the weapons instead of raw materials, and logo. it is kind of frustrating, you use your weapon or tool or whatever, it gets used up and poof! its gone

 

if its in factions then make sure you are using 1.7.10.if its in other worlds i have found that it only works sometimes...also if you relog you get your xp back
