So, like the title says, I am planting saplings and I can never seem to get them to grow. If I use bonemeal they sparkle like a twilight vampire for a minute but don't grow. What gives? :cry:
You need to make sure there's enough room around and above the sapling to grow, and it needs a light level of 8 or more. http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tree#Gro ... cteristics
Thanks cowgod, I actually did meet the requirements, but you linking the wiki page prompted me to read the whole thing. My problem was I am trying to grow dark oaks, and you need to plant 4 seedlings in a 2x2! :mrgreen:
