Will Getting my Name Changed get me off the Server Whitelist

    Will getting my name changed get me off the white list for sandlot and the registration, or does the list just depend on email?

    It's actually based on IP address, so no, changing your name will not make you have to re-whitelist. c:

    It is not based on the IP. You can play Minecraft on Sandlot from anywhere that an IP is not banned. I travel a lot an use different IPs all the time.

    Your Minecraft account has a UUID that never changes and that is what the whitelisting is tied to. So you can change your Minecraft name to whatever you like and still be whitelisted on the Sandlot. (Make sure the name is appropriate of course or you will get banned until you change it again.)

    hehe, meant UUID, was thinking at the time that a code for the account was called an IP :p
