that would be rather hard to do as cherrac already has more then enough on his hands with just the computer edition so with making a PE version and maintaining it would be a bit much
Plus it would split the community and give us two completely different versions that are each only half as cool as they could be if we dedicated all our efforts to one thing.
I also don't believe there's a multiplayer (except locally) for PE. It's been a while since I've played though.
There isn't an actual multiplayer for PE except over LAN, the only way i know to play on a PE server is through minecraft PE realms.
