[1.8] PROTOCOL UPDATE - Please Read and Share

The shop plugin appears to be acting up.

When loggin on, I got the message that I was unable to pay for my shop, even though I have plenty of money.

Both on 1.8 and on 1.7.9, I see my name on the shop's sign, but when I click on it (and even when I click on an available shop's sign), I get nothing.

I'm also unable to open my rented shop's chests.

 

This happened to me pre-1.8

 

The beacon colors change because lighting is done at your end, not on Sandlot.

For me the enchanting table had the new interface but still the same 1.7 mechanics. It showed that I always had 3 lapis in there that I did not place and could not remove, no matter how many enchants I did. On Skyblock anyway.

 

I'm quite sure cherrac made it so that even though it takes lapis, your ench table doesn't run out of it

The update reset the shop sign configuration. I'll see what I can do...

 

I'm pretty sure the ench table is just because it has that gui on your end, but it does nothing.

 

I'm havinng trouble repairing things in 1.8...it'll say it takes three levels but take like 40.

 

This is because your client is on 1.8, so it gives you the smaller (1. level requirement for 1.8 in the GUI, but because sandlot is 1.7, it requires a 1.7 number of levels.

 

Looks like 1.8 progress is being made.

I found this in that article, but was too lazy to read the rest:

Is this good news or bad news?

 

To bad that you can't update the plugins and hg3 and 4 are down

 

Probably not a great idea to resurrect an old thread, whose first post is no longer accurate (there are bunnies in newly-generated chunks in appropriate biomes).
