Hi, I'm just wondering.. I've seen multiple players in creative be denied from the plot. Then, they say, "I'm going to report you if you don't undeny me!" So, I'm wondering if I should report someone for this. Also, if you get into this situation, I'd say, "I have all the rights to deny you. This is my plot." and then let it be. Thanks, ZX.
I think you should get a helper if that happens or if it gets out of hand and like makes drama and chat fighting (@LegoBoyo way to say argue) then contact a moderator or a senior helper if one is online or if no helper or moderator or senior helper is on then make contact with a moderator on the forums like make a conversation.
The people that threaten to report players for denying them from a plot have no grounds to do so. There is no rule in place to say that people cannot deny people from their plot. Why would the command be there if it wasn't allowed? If the owner of the plot wants to stop a certain player from entering, they can do so.
Denying people from plots is, as Kyu said, perfectly allowed. That being said, harassment or bullying on the part of the denier or the denied is strictly not allowed. If you feel the need to deny someone, don't be a jerk about it, as rule 5 says. And if someone asks why they were denied, be sure you are chatting in a respectful manner.
Denying someone from your plot is the same thing as asking them to leave your house. From our rules: Rule #5: Don’t be a jerk Simply put: Don’t be a jerk.We enjoy our players. Our players like that they can play here with their friends and not be harassed and bothered. If someone asks you to leave their house, leave.
People- I understand that you need to deny people off of plots for personal reasons. That is perfectly O.K. However, if a denied player is repetitively harassing you about undenying them and threatening to report you for doing so, it is not O.K. We can't prevent people from doing this, but if someone is harassing you, I suggest telling an admin right away. They are breaking the rules. However, if you are the one threatening them, saying you're going to take their perms away if they don't do "this or that", it's not okay. I would simply say, "Excuse me, JoJoMcDerp, you are doing something I am not comfortable with you doing. I would like for you to stop." At the end of the day, you deny people for good reasons. If they are to harass you until you let them build, something needs to be done about it.
