Server Maintenance: Today (In about 10 hours from this post)

Maintenance will begin at approximately 9pm Arizona time and should be relatively brief.

All servers will be unavailable for a short time, and the rest of the maintenance window will require restarts several times on all servers. I will be online at the time and informing you via in-game chat when I need to restart a particular server. The maintenance will consist of security updates for the underlying OS, plugin updates, a Java update, and a reset of the SVS resource world. Get your beacon and other valuables out of there!

@b12arr01973 and I removed all the important things we could find in the "Resource World." Including the beacon, and @TrueVioletMU,s enchanting room stuff. We also found a few locked chests which Biz kindly coppied to the garage in case someone comes back later looking for their items.

Remember not to place chests with valuables in the resource world as you may lose the items on resets such as this one tonight.

 

Rainbow, I saved that underground castle that was made that one day that your, Snoopy, Razz, and I found those spikes. I saved it as schema file RainbowDash_castle. We can paste it in creative or something if you want. I had to save a lot of surrounding rock so it's like a big block.

Not gonna happen any time soon. This is just a reset of Resource World, which is an adjunct world to SVS just for mining and collecting resources because there is an ore generation issue in the regular SVS world. Nobody is supposed to build anything in Resource World, so resetting is not an issue. It is an issue with Easy and the many builds there, though.

 

Thanks again for all your hard work, Cowgod! And after today, I probably can't play again til Thursday. Everyone on SVS, save a few gold ores for me, OK?

 

Maintenance has been completed. The SVS Resource World has been reset--bring your water bottle with you. I updated Java as well as one of our core plugins installed on all servers except Easy, SVS, and Hunger Games, so please post a bug report if you have any issues with lobby costumes, balances, teleporting to players, baltops, warps, signs, hats, flying in the lobby, the /me command, or /ct. I also updated the global tab player menu too, so let me know if there's issues with that as well. Thank you.

P.S. I am aware of the Bricksburg plot issue in Creative but I didn't have time to fix that tonight. I have a backup of it so if it has missing buildings or is otherwise destroyed I'm not that concerned. I will try and fix that as soon as I can.
