Outdated Server

Hi all - is the server down for an upgrade to 1.9? Attempts to connect get me a response "outdated server".

 

No, Sandlot is not on 1.9.
Go to your profile in the bottom left corner of the page before you click "Play" and make sure your minecraft account is on a 1.8.9 version. Sandlot is on that version as well.
Then you can save your profile.

See if that works and if you continue having issues let us know!

 

This is because you on 1.9 go to 1.8 and it should work but no promise. Press edit profile where it says what version to play on press latest version and change it to 1.8.9

 

To play on Sandlot, you'll need to downgrade your profile to 1.8.
Here's how:
Open your Minecraft Launcher and click "Edit Profile"

Then click "Use Latest Version" and change it to "release 1.8.9".

Then click "Save Profile".

 

Awesome, you guys are the best. I bet this question gets asked a lot today. I assume there'll be an announcement when we can switch versions.

 

You can also go to Use latest version.

 

Not if you want to play Sandlot I tried.

 

That will put you on version 1.9.

 

Ik because the server host is not 1.9 compatible yet.

I had this same problem, and was like "nuuuuuu, I'll never play on Sandlot again, woe is me"
