If you read the first page, there is a tutorial on how to change your MC version, so that you can join Sandlot.

 

Hey, 1.9 is awesome but... It's kindof satisfying in a way

 

I miss the Sandlot!! My computer is weird about Minecraft and the tip c0w gave might not work on my grumpy computer! Tell everyone I say hi until I figure it out. Miss you all!

im still gonna use 1.8.8 for the time but when sandlot gets 1.9 in 6 - 12 months, i will use that for sure!

This reminds me of when I first got 1.7. I was oblivious to the fact that It existed until I played on my single player world, and found that red flowers were replaced by poppies. (Might have gotten it wrong, been a long time) I then tried sandlot and figured out I couldn't join! I then checked the forums, and found out there was an update. -sigh- Memories...
