Hey all, I've been trying to copy heads and cannot. I'm on a mac. I got help from a friend but still, same problem. We tried CMD+T (T because thats my copy block button) CTRL+CMD+ALT and so on. Please help
I use a MacBook Pro laptop. Try the steps below. If you have a middle button on your mouse ("Pick Block"), try using it while you have the item selected (outlined) in your view. If you don't have a middle button on your mouse, then try to reconfigure your keys. Press Esc Click on Options Click on Controls Look at the 3rd item down on the left side (Pick Block) and see what key is associated with it on the first tab. (Mine says Button 3 on the first tab.) Click the first tab after the words Pick Block, and you should see arrows. Click it again using whatever key you want to use for this task. (If it turns red, that key is already being used. If it turns white, then you may use that key.) Click Done at the bottom and return to your game. Look at the item you want to copy so that it is outlined or selected in your view. Click control (key) and the item should appear in your inventory. I tested it using the letter M and control M placed the item in my hotbar. Hope it works for you!
He already mapped the 'Pick Block' control to his 'T' key. When he picks the head, he only receives a Steve head. I tried to help in-game, but there's only so much I can do considering I know the bare minimum about Macs.
Can you hold the head in your hot bar, and then use the Pick Block function to copy it. You will get 64 of them, but you can dispose of the ones you don't want.
I have noticed sometimes that it takes several seconds before a Steve head turns into the correct skin. It has to retrieve the skin from Mojang's server, so there's a chance that the skin server wasn't working 100% at the time.
Hold CTRL and then click the middle (or in your case, 'T' button) button and then see if it works... I've never used a mac so I have no idea how to help but thats how I do it on my Windows 10.
k so you have to do option+pick block and then command+pick block for it to not just give you a steve head
