  1. Hi guys. This is my problem: 6 days ago I was trying to play on the sandlot, but it said I couldn't connect to the server. I tried my realm but it said the same thing. I tried closing and re-opening minecraft but it didn't work! I tried signing out of my account and back in, but now it wont let me log back in! When I tried to log in again it said:
"Sorry, but we couldn't connect to servers. Please try again and make sure your internet is active and minecraft isn't blocked. (EOFException: SSL peer shut down incorrectly)"
Has this happened to anyone? And if so, how did you fix it?

    Thanks!

  2. By the way, we have checked our internet connection (everything else works as normal), we have restarted our modem just in case, and we have uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft, and we have checked our blocked sites. Nothing helped.

    Are you using a mac?

  5. We emailed Mojang last week, but haven't heard anything back yet. :(
We're using a Windows computer, not a Mac.

There is a different Minecraft Launcher, called Magic Launcher.
Make sure you have Minecraft, then install Magic Launcher.
    That might help.

  7. How do I get it? Have you used it? Can you give a link?
    Thanks!

@Vctr3 It is best to not share links about 3rd party computer apps, mods, etc..

@Warwinner1000 I am sorry you are having this issue. You can find the thing Vctr3 named. Be sure you have your parent's permission before downloading anything. Always do your own research and make an informed decision before downloading anything.

Go on the internet, and look up "Magic Launcher". I don't know the link, exactly.

  10. I will. Thanks Vctr3 and Life!

    Oh no, sorry!
    Just thought I could help!
I use it, and I thought it would help. :p Sorry, again. D:

  12. No problem. My parents are running a problem diagnostic on the computer with minecraft on it. If that doesn't work, we might look up some info. Don't worry Vctr3. You didn't mean any harm.;)

There are many possible issues that could cause this. I would first recommend completely uninstalling Java if you have it installed. Second, make sure you download the latest MinecraftInstaller.msi file from http://minecraft.net/download and use that to reinstall Minecraft. Third, make sure you do not have any third party security software blocking SSL connections to Amazon's S3 services, which is where the launcher downloads the latest versions of Minecraft JARs.

You did not share the link, so it is fine. You can recommend things that work for you.
