My son has been playing minecraft for over a year but is brand new to Sandlot and PVP. We need help getting the commands to work. We downloaded the command reference guide. The Tip of not having to press "T" which he is used to is great, but we are entering /! and the command and the commands are not working. What are we doing wrong?
We have a special channel that our helpers monitor. To get help, your son can type /helpme (message) and staff will see his message in bright pink text. He won't see it, but we will. On most servers, you can see commands by typing /help. Also, if he presses Tab, the green names at the top left are moderators. We will try to help or get him help. We see all chat, from all servers, so the best way to reach us is with a private message /w (name) (message). Then the message will stand out more on our screens. But, just so that you know, we are working on our new SVS server now, and some moderators are gathering resources while away from their keyboards. If they don't answer, he should not get discouraged.
Like LifeLearner said, us helpers have a chat channel that he can access with /helpme and we'll help him.
