I emailed guest services and got the following note back: The Anaheim Convention Center allows you to bring your own snacks in your backpack. However, no ice chests or large containers are allowed.
@AdorableOcelot this thread will be the main line of communication. Phone numbers would not be a good idea as that is not monitered by Sandlot and we cannot protect players.
The suggestion was to exchange such in convo, not in the open, between parents only. Now, as for that, we would have a problem with that act, because we cannot know it IS the parent communicating. So, no phone # would be the rule for now. If c0w or Cheracc volunteer to accept numbers, via private convo, I suspect that would be OK, but we'll have to hear it from them.

I will be watching the livestream this weekend (when I can). Hopefully I will be able to see you guys at some point on the livestream
cheracc, c0wg0d, and I (and some of our families) met tonight. We decided to see how busy the exterior around Hall A looks tomorrow. If that looks like a not-too-crowded place, then we might try to use that as our meeting place. We were thinking of meeting Sunday morning before the Convention Center opens. We would love to talk with any of you, if you find us wandering around the venue!
