Hi Nathan, do you know the incorrect user he signed up with? If not, do you know the email? I am not a mod so I don't know the exact things a whitelist has. *DISCLAIMER* Do not post the email here, PM a moderator.
As @Unionized instructed, please send his email address to myself or another Moderator in a private message, so we can verify if he has a forums account linked to it or not.
