I got it to load once without a timeout and it was weird, couldn't see blocks normally etc. Now it just keeps timing out. Edit...got in again but then it timed out and took me out. Things looked normal but it timed out it said. Never had this issue until I logged out for a bit, vs just sitting there. Now issues with it seems any multiplayer server. FirenFrost
Hey - what version of Minecraft are you running? Is this in specific areas of our server, or just the whole thing? Do you have any resource packs, or mods?? Those are mainly what i believe could be causing this problem.... Do you have a computer with a lot of storage taken up?? If so i'd recommend deleting some pictures & programs. Let me know if this works.
I had the same issue last night about 11PM (CDT, 9PM c0w-time). Could move but not interact with chests...only about 25 chunks loaded (it was really creepily looking out from treehouse into...nothing... Haven't checked this AM.
None of those issues...and 1.10... It was happening in Mesa..been going on here and there with a ton of lag then no lag, now today back to connection issues.
I just saw that...dunno...been going on for days but today only time out after trying to load terrain...when it did...scary stuff like the other day...pit of darkness.
I just checked again, in Texas and the East Coast there are serious issues with web traffic. I had this problem two days ago...could log in and walk, but no chat, couldn't chat, couldn't open chests, etc...it's back again. The common thread is the DDOS attack on Dyn...just my guess.
If the servers are hosted here in tx or east coast could be...they are opening and closing ports to attack.
Last I checked The Sandlot was hosted out of Canada, but a map of web traffic shows the US east of the Mississippi at 90%+ of web capacity due to the attack.
@JackenKracken , it sounds like people can connect, but they don't show up in tab and can't interact, so it is probaly the hosting
