Skywars, HG1, HG2, and Build Battle will be offline for an extended period of time. Most other servers will remain online, but will have to be restarted at least once during the maintenance period. Additionally, the Hardcore server will be taken offline for the monthly reset, and also SVS will have the resource worlds reset.

I expect the maintenance window to last a minimum of 4 hours.

I'll try to do it toward the beginning, yeah.

 

Maintenance has been completed.

• The latest security fixes and updates have been installed on the operating system.
• All 1.11.2 servers have been updated to the latest version.
• Dirtblock, Easy, Skyblock, and SVS have been allocated more RAM to help support more players and have better performance and (hopefully) experience far less lag.
• Skyblock and Dirtblock have had the view distance decreased from 8 to 7 to help with performance.
• Skyblock and Dirtblock have been updated with a new asynchronous World Edit plugin that can copy millions of blocks quickly. I tested with @hamsrus1 and a new Dirtblock island was created in about 3 seconds compared to literally minutes before.
• Our second physical server has been discontinued due to cost and we are back on just one server again. This should not have any visible effect to you guys, but I wanted to let you know. If we magically get a bunch of new VIP subscriptions I can look into adding it back if the server performance suffers too much, but this is not likely to happen. If you notice any data inconsistencies or any other issues in Build Battle, HG1, HG2, or Skywars, let me know.
• The Build Battle map has been reset to remove erroneous blocks.
• The Semi-Vanilla Survival resource worlds have been reset.
• The Hardcore map, achievements, and all other player data have been reset.
• Many plugins across multiple servers were updated to the latest versions (notably the chat system, the Skyblock/Dirtblock plugin, and the plugin that controls warps, lobby costumes, and player balances).
