Dear c0wg0d - The Ender Dragon Spawning Bug​

Dear c0wg0d, I am glad I get to play on the Sandlot and I thank you for such a fun and entertaining place to play, I also thank you for fixing issues, being a good owner, having a great staff team along with updating the server when able to. Unfortunately I am reporting a bug but this bug has been one that is quite annoying, frustrating and repetitive. The bug is what I call the Ender Dragon Spawning Bug. Note I don't feel any anger or mean feelings towards anyone or the server but I do feel this bug needs to be taken care of. The bug is that the end portal is duplicating, causing the dragon to not be spawnable it's a easy temp fix just break the duplicated portal but I also don't want this happening continually. I know today is Feburary 23rd 2019 and the months almost over but it still is a problem that should be taken care of. Here is a image of the situation. I think you should tag @c0wg0d if you want him to look, also I believe this is a case where the end chunks were not saved correctly, and some region files were corrupted. Since there are A MILION different ways this could happen, I think that the only fix for it would be to restore the spawn end chunks from a backup. However, since that would require a maintenance session, there is a good chance that c0w won't be able to fix it right away. I would suggest that for now you try out some of the other servers on the sandlot, and do something else : )

 

Either other servers on the Sandlot, other family friendly servers, or other non family friendly servers with a parents permission. If you choose the two latter, make sure not to say, or even hint to the server name of the IP address on the server, as that is a violation of the rules. Sorry for exploding your quote, @__Excel!

No, of course. I thought so, I just wanted to check.

 

It's in the resource world. I am in 1.12.2 and this bug may not be by me it could be someone else but the problem is no one can now spawn the dragon till you someone fixes it or resets recourse world.

 

I believe that since it is in the resource world, @c0wg0d wouldn't want to go through the long process of fixing it, as the resource world is fully reset every month. My suggestion is to wait until the next reset, and in the meantime play on other sandlot servers.
