Can't join the server

    Hi! I have not played on the Sandlot in a while and would like to play for a bit. When I try to join it does nothing for about 15 seconds and then displays a message like "Disconnected" or "Timed out" I have a screenshot attached to this post.

    Hey, snappy2007! Welcome back :)

    Here are some things to help with your problem:
    1) Make sure you are connecting using the version 1.12.2. Sandlot does work for 1.13 but it’s very much in the works, meaning this could be causing your problem.
    2) Make sure you’re connected to the internet.
    3) Make sure you’re not using any type of firewall that could be blocking the Sandlot.
    4) Try pressing the ‘Refresh’ button in the server list before joining anything. I do that everytime, and it does make a difference.
    5) If none of that helps, try connecting with the direct IP address: 142.4.217.143. You can do this by pressing the ‘Direct Connect’ button and copying that code.

    Oh, thanks! I was connecting using the version 1.8.9 haha!
    It works now thanks!
    Also, I am a VIP ingame but don't seem to have that little fancy VIP thing on my name in the forums.

    Go to the lobby in game and it should update your VIP badge on the forums.

    If that doesn’t work, try the Adventure server? I seem to remember that fixing someone else’s similar problem.

    I am having the same problem. Yet every time I try, even with Direct Connect.. I am not able to connect at all. Internet does work, no blocking firewalls, etc. Logins were attempted on two devices.

    Don't use Direct Connect if you can help it. We are experiencing intermittent lag/connection problems so if it doesn't work, wait a few minutes and try again. Make sure you are using Minecraft 1.12.2.

    Edit: Third attempt at joining and it still does not work. Anything else you could suggest?

    It looks like Creative was having a problem. Try now.

    I can confirm this is still a problem. I have never seen this response before;

    Could not connect to a default or fallback server, please try again later: in.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException

    I logged out on Creative, and there are other people on the Server, so I expect it is still the Creative issue.

    I logged out in skyblock, but I'm getting the same issue.

    [edit] the error message is above and below.
    [edit 2] I also think I got kicked last night, because when I checked the forum to see if I was still afk, I wasn't online, I assumed it was just a glitch, but now that Im having issues, it probably wasn't.

    I logged out in the lobby last night. getting:
    Could not connect to a default or fallback server, please try again later: in.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException

    There was a problem with the nightly restart. All servers should be coming back online now. I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Fixed. I think this is going to keep happening every day until I figure out the root cause of this problem. :(

    Oh no! a new daily ritual; get up, grab coffee, restart servers.

    @c0wg0d understand you are an amazing person! ...etc... ...etc if life gets in the way- I understand if the server isn't up immediately.

    Severe lag spikes, with just me and one other. Eventually the server kicked us, and haven't been able to log back in. Just Fyi, I'm in no hurry.
