Joining Server

Hi,
We have been accepted to join the Sandlot but each time we try to connect to the server, we get an error.
"Kicked Whilst Connecting to Lobby" - you are not whitelisted on this server. We have tried the 1.12.2 version too with non luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Craig!

Are you sure that you signed up for your whitelist request with your in-game name? If you signed up with Craig but your minecraft name is not Craig, you will be unable to connect.

Otherwise, I'm not sure why that is happening. Hope my suggestion helps!

I am trying to sort it out for my kids and probably should have had them do all of this, lol. They have been playing for a long time but not with a community so it will be great.
I've downloaded the game, where do I find our minecraft name?

You can find your Minecraft name on Minecraft's website - after you sign in, if you go to your profile you can see your in-game username.

I've just figured it out. The username needs to be Hammer_time08
Should I just reapply to be whitelisted?

 

Hi - here's how you can find your Minecraft name.

Type minecraft.net into your web browser.
Click "Log In" in the top right corner
Log in with your email/password
Scroll to the bottom, and look for a section that says "Profile Name"

One of our mods, @LifeLearner, has confirmed you've been whitelisted.

Here's what she said in the "Help! It says I'm whitelisted but I still can't join the server" thread:

Edit: You also should've gotten an email after your whitelist had been accepted. This should be in the email address you used to sign up.

 

I think what he is saying is that he is whitelisted under the Craig name and not the Hammer_time08 name.

If a moderator dosen't reply here before I see one in-game, I can ask a moderator for the answer to this question in-game. I'll post here as soon as I get an answer

Make sure you log in with 1.15.2, most of the servers are on that update

I definitely registered as Craig for Sandlot instead of Hammer_time08, my mistake.
Should I re-request to join the whitelist or are you able to confirm this on your end?
