What Minecraft Version is the Sandlot Using? A Small Help Guide

    I'm sure @c0wg0d knows what version each of our servers are running, but the general base of players may not. New comers will also want to know this before connecting to prepare themselves for potential connection errors due to an outdated server version. Below is the version list of each of our servers, as well as the current Minecraft version available.

    (As of April 6, 2025)

    Current Minecraft Version: 1.21.5

    Current Sandlot Client support: 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21.0, 1.21.1, 1.21.3, 1.21.4, 1.21.5

    Recommended Sandlot Client: 1.21.4

    Server Versions:
    Easy: 1.21.4
    Normal: 1.21.3
    Hard: 1.21.1
    Creative: 1.21.4
    Hunger Games: 1.20.4
    Arenas: 1.16.5
    Skywars: 1.21.4
    Adventure: 1.21.4
    Parkour: 1.21.4
    Skyblock: 1.19.4
    Lobby: 1.21.4

    For servers on versions less than our current client support, we are currently limited by plugin support. Compatibility issues with mismatched versions can be expected to be fixed once the servers are updated.

    I have updated the list. Creative, Hard, and HG have been updated to 1.16.3 on the server side, and you will need that version to connect and play on those servers. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone now use 1.16.3 to play on all servers.

    Updated Skywars and Normal to 1.16.3. We no longer have any 1.16.2 servers, so that client version is now unsupported.

    1.16.4 Has released today. This client is not yet supported for connecting on the sandlot, so continue to use 1.16.3 until there is an announcement.

    1.16.5 came out yesterday and contains only a couple security fixes (probably for servers and related to social aspects recently introduced). If you cannot connect with 1.16.5, then continue to use 1.16.4 until a statement is released.

    You can now connect with a 1.17.1 client. we do not officially support 1.17 on any of our servers just yet.
