About a week ago, I wasn't able to place 1.17 blocks in Creative... I'm not sure if the server had updated by then or not...
Hi everybody, As a last step of our 1.17.1 upgrade, we have finally limited older client versions from connecting. Some players may still be able to connect to the lobby with 1.16.5, but they will not be able to join most servers. There's never a good time to make these changes which will definitely impact some players, and I'm sorry for the trouble!
