So I just noticed we have a large amount of guests visiting the website is this normal or is this something we should be concerned about?
maybe it's a glitch? The amount of guests joining doesnt go down but only adds to itself? Just my hypothesis

Anyone can see a few forums for the website, such as Announcements. Only members can see most of the forums. People looking at our forums can be good if it brings us new players.
my main concern was that somebody might be trying to crash the website by overloading it with activity
Literally this if it is anything lol This is not normal but I truly do not know much about what the cause/effects of this are. I would figure (glass half full logic incoming) that it is of no concern.
I’ve noticed the amount of guests has been usually high for months now, but I’ve always shrugged it off. There haven’t been any issues with the website’s connection from what I’ve seen, so I’m assuming it’s not a concern.
I worry about this a lot especially since trolls like to target online safe havens like this server, but luckily we have a strict whitelist process and amazing moderators. I'm sure it is nothing to worry about and if it is something, it's likely easy to handle from the backend.
These are normal, and can be safely ignored. All websites are frequently scanned and cataloged by automated processes. Among many other things, this is how search engines find out about a website, and is also part of how they decide when and how a website will appear in search results.
Depending on how the website is hosted, 200+ guests shouldn't be an issue, unless one of the moderators is hosting it on their personal computer lol If I recall correctly, the Sandlot is hosted in Montreal, and if the website is hosted in a proper server room as well, it should be okay
my assumption is that because it’s the holiday season people are looking for places for their younger children to play online as some sort of present. more traffic to the site is awesome to see!
