Hi I've just put the server back onto my daughters' account as she as just got a new laptop and I'm getting this error when trying to join Bedrock: internal exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException On Java I get: failed connection to the server ReadTimeoutException : null What do I need to do please? I've changed her gamer tag back to what it was when I signed her up (same name as my name on here). But not sure what else to do. Thank you all
Did you check your Internet connection? I have gotten this error in the past due to low Internet speeds.
Make sure your game is on the latest version, 1.21.1. I think this account plays on Java version. The two versions must be on different accounts. We can check the logs as well, but also as mentioned, sometimes the connection is slow. Try several times.
For the Java account, the username is in the lower right of the launcher, and you have to click “Java version” in the left sidebar. The bedrock account for this username is not whitelisted.
I am also having a similar problem with my mc saying the readtimeout exception null thing. Then later is said I am not whitelisted. Did I get banned??
Please try connecting again when you can and let me know how it goes. We're experiencing some growing pains with the recent Minecraft version upgrades, but I think we should be set now.
I just tried it again, and it still says that I was Kicked whilst connecting to lobby: you are not whitelisted on this server
hm, is curse forge mod loader blocked or something? When I do vanilla 1.21.1 directly from the launcher, it works fine, but then when I try through curse forge (with no mods installed) it claims I am not whitelisted. I have been using curse forge for about the past year since I play some other mod packs, yet it is suddenly not working.
Mods (forge itself is a mod) do create complications. The software we use to support 1.21.3 support is very much "bleeding edge" at this point. Compatibility may improve over time. For now, if it works with Vanilla, please use that.
