New versions of both Bedrock and Java platforms were released today (October 22): Sandlot does support Java Edition 1.21.2 (and 1.21.3). (updated Oct. 24) Sandlot does support Bedrock 1.21.40 (and 1.21.41). (updated Oct. 23) Once the plugins we use have been updated and tested, we'll enable users to connect with these versions as soon as possible. We will update this post as soon as we get things updated. Bedrock 1.21.40 support should be available after our nightly restart today. Expect Java Edition 1.21.2 support to take a bit longer (likely up to a week). Server upgrades will come later. This means that, even once you can connect with the new versions, new features in 1.21.2 will not be available in individual Sandlot servers until that server has been upgraded to 1.21.2. Since the Sandlot uses server plugins that are developed by people other than the Sandlot team, they have to wait until the developers update the plugin code to support 1.21.2 before the Sandlot Team can upgrade the server. And then, it's a matter of finding free time since the Sandlot Team members are all volunteers! So generally speaking, it is best to just be patient. It often happens as a nice surprise. At least, that's how I choose to deal with the situation of upgrades
We currently have no new connection problems with Bedrock related to the Minecraft updates. Users can currently connect with any Java Edition version from 1.20.4 through 1.21.3 (all recent versions). We have a few reports of players seeing an error that they are not whitelisted: "Kicked whilst connecting to lobby: You are not whitelisted on this server!" If you see this message and you are whitelisted, please try connecting using the official Minecraft Launcher. 1.21.2/3 support is still very new. Compatibility will improve over time.
Me and Char were, and I appreciate it. @trubuhl was very helpful in listening to my complaints issues. Using the official minecraft launcher does work for us. And trubuhl did agree that being able to toggle F3 information to show on the main screen is more beneficial than armadillo scute Appreciate it.
Don't mind me... I visited this thread today to see about supported Bedrock versions and now I'm both bumping it and maybe usefully saving it for myself for future reference.
My grandson is playing 1.21.51 bedrock version; is that supported yet? They joined two days ago but now can't join. Other servers were joinable. I told them to wait a day, and they've update, reinstalled, re-added the game to the Xbox.
