    The time has come to say farewell to the current Skyblock map. We’re excited to launch a fresh experience, and we’ll share full details in a separate announcement thread soon. For now, here’s what you need to know:

    Q: Is the map being reset?
    A: Yes.

    Q: Will I lose my items and my island?
    A: Yes.

    Q: What Minecraft version will the new Skyblock use?
    A: 1.21.10

    Q: Can I download the current map to play in single player?
    A: Yes!
    ✅ Tip: Before the reset, place all your inventory items into a chest on your island. Player inventories will be wiped in the downloadable map.

    Q: Will there be a farewell party for the current Skyblock?
    A: Absolutely!
    Farewell Livestream: Join me on November 22nd at 2:00 PM EST to say goodbye to the current Skyblock map.
    This will be my first livestream ever, so please take it easy on me ;)

    Q: When will the current Skyblock be closed?
    A: It will close after the farewell party, at 4:00 PM EST on November 22nd.

    Q: When will the new Skyblock open?
    A: The new Skyblock will launch on November 28th at 2:00 PM EST!

    Q: Will this Skyblock game have the same challenges and functions?
    A: No. This Skyblock game design is a bit different. We will post more details on the Skyblock forum after the current Skyblock world closes.

    Q: Can my island be part of the tour?
    A: Of course! Please respond to this post and post your island coordinates if possible.

    Hello! I admit I am really torn at this news; im excited to play skyblock again, by far my favorite map. But I'm also quite sad at losing my island. I spent months building it (ok full admission, I played a LOT while I was on sick leave, it was my creative outlet :).)

    I aimed to reach the top 50 players, then the top 30, then 20, then I decided to enter the top 10. I reached number 5 by sheer willpower haha. WanderingLlama's gorgeous island (and the rest of the team's ),were a great help and inspiration.

    I am quite proud that there is almost nothing square on my island except, well, um... the blocks themselves =p its all spirals and circles.

    My island is at 1920, 900 if someone wants a tour.

    How do I download the map?

    Thank you - you are such an awesome team.

    I'm excited to see all the changes for the new reset, and having access to new blocks and things! I've been putting off starting up on skyblock again since there had been rumors of the reset ever since I rejoined. I'll get to have lots of good practice building new farms now!

    So excited for the reset! Don't want to spoil anything but this will be even better than last skyblock! Many, many more challenges, great new spawn and tutorial island... this will be such an awesome reset!

    Hi All. Thanks to Trubuhl for letting me know about the reset.

    I have so many great memories building this Skyblocks and the previous one (first island to Sky Master in the previous one).
    Some of the best memories is giving other players a tour of my island, showing them how to achieve certain challenges, and helping out.
    While many people ask to be given items to do the challenges, i think its better to give them a start and advice so they can achieve the challenges themselves. They end up enjoying it so much more.

    I'm only online a few times a year these days. I miss all the players i have built with over the years.
    Trubuhl is my longest friend, but there have been so many friendships.
    Sandlot is a great community and i have recommended it to many. Keep it going everyone.

    Skyblocks has always taught me more about the game mechanics than anything else. You have to learn all the tricks to achieve the challenges.

    I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't played Skyblocks before, to jump in and give it a go on the new one. You will love it.

    Yay... been a while since I made endless lava mountains of stone for mobs to spawn beneath my little grass block plot... the void awaits the intrepid miner :oops:

    I have created the list of islands that we'll use for the island tour. I took some from /is top, some from /baltop, ones listed in this thread, some from WanderingLlama, and others that I happened to see while flying around. I found 28 islands for the tour. I put the 28 island list through a randomizer and it came out with this order.

    I have put skyblock into maintenance mode. I will bring it out of maintenance mode before the tour so players can join. I have set up some signs at spawn to allow you to enter spectator mode during the tour. I can tp players to me as they join.
