Hello everyone. My sons Microsoft account, PrinzBot was hacked and taken over. I am working to try and recover it through Microsoft but it's not looking good. If his account logs in or accesses the Sandlot, please know that it is not him. I'm not sure what to do at this point so if anybody has an suggestions or experiance with this happening please let me know. Thank you!
When was he hacked? This is terrible to hear about, by the way. I saw him online yesterday, I think. I can go in and double check. Was that not him?
It looks like he was hacked on Thursday, but I'm not sure if they fully took over his account untill today. It's possible it was him playing yesterday. He's not home at the moment but I can ask him when he comes back.
I asked and it was him playing yesterday, but when we woke up today he could not longer log into his Microsoft account. That's when I discovered a string of emails where his Micorsoft email account was changed, his passkey was deleted, and his security checks were changed. I have now idea how they were able to do all that but they did.
I have created a new Microsoft account for him, Prinzbot5794. Is there a way to move his existing account over to this new one?
I just logged into the server using his new account and it seems to be working. I guess the new account profile with Microsoft automatically attached to his old Minecraft data. Very strange but it looks like maybe it's all back to normal.
New update, it wasn't really working before just using the cached logins to work. After I cleared out everything and tried to login again it wouldn't even let me play minecraft on his account, it said I had to buy it again. Unfortunately there was not way around it, I think whoever stole his previous account now has that access. Anyway I bought the game again and his profile name is not PrinzBotz (almost the same as before just with an extra z at the end). Now the problem is I can't login to Sandlot, it says he is no longer whitelisted. Do I need to submit a new request to get him approved?

Thanks for letting us know about this situation. I have removed the old account from our whitelist so whoever stole his account cannot join The Sandlot. All player accounts are whitelisted using the unique ID number for the account - not the username. This is why players can change their names and still log onto The Sandlot. We need you to file a new whitelist application for the new account. Let us know in the optional section that this account is a replacement for PrinzBot. This will enable him to play on the the server. After the new account is approved, we will try to merge his old forums account with his new forums account, so that (ideally) he will still have all his forums content.
