Bedrock 26.30 and Java Edition 26.2 "Chaos Cubed" support status (Java: Yes) (Bedrock: Yes)

New versions of both Bedrock and Java platforms were released today (June 16):

Sandlot does upport Java Edition 26.2 clients. (updated June 24)
Sandlot does support Bedrock 26.30 clients. (updated Jun. 18)

Once the plugins we use have been updated and tested, we will enable users to connect with these versions as soon as possible.

We will update this post as soon as we get things updated.

June 24 update: All current versions can now connect.

June 22 update:
Java Edition 26.2 still cannot connect to the Sandlot. We'll hopefully get this fixed soon.
In the meantime, you can use an older version of Java Edition (26.1.2 recommended):

June 18 update:
Bedrock 26.30 may have been able to connect since June 16 when using server direct configuration. Starting today, joing the SandlotMC friend's game works again.

We hope to have support for both upgraded by June 20 (hopefully sooner)

Server upgrades will come later.
This means that, even once you can connect with the new versions, new features in 26.30 / 26.2 will not be available in individual Sandlot servers until that server has been upgraded to 26.2.

Just updated: All bedrock users should be able to connect now. Java is still looking like Saturday or late Friday.

 

Please be patient. The update happens when the Admins have time to work on it.

All staff on The Sandlot are volunteers - not paid employees. We have families, jobs, school, and other pursuits too.

 

Hi @PixelP14, it looks like you're running into two separate issues:

1. Sandlot does not support Java Edition 26.2 yet. (You can work around this. See below (you would want to use 26.1.2).
2. Your Bedrock account is not whitelisted. The Bedrock account would need to be whitelisted before you can connect.

1. Submit a whitelist request for your bedrock account OR link your account:

Please also note that we're aware that Microsoft / Minecraft has started enforcing age verification and other XBOX profile settings on Java that were previously only enforced with Bedrock. This appears to be affecting players in 26.1.2 (at least), as well. Please check your XBOX profile settings:
