Hi, I've got a particularly sad problem. My IGN is banajaanh. I had traveled very far out to find a place to move away from others, and found a large island to stay on. I put a bed, a regular chest, and an enderchest on top of a hill on the island. I had set my bed spawn there at night, and right as I was about to claim some of the land, a zombie killed me. My bed spawn glitched and said it was obstructed or missing, which it wasn't. I died looking at it. I hadn't screencapped my coords, since I thought my bed spawn would just send me back to the hill. I got sent to my /home spawn instead, and now the game doesn't even recognize that I had a bed spawn in the first place. The closest coords I know that is nearby-ish my island is like 24k something, 79, -30k something. I was really far out and I lost a lot of really good enchanted tools when I died and was respawned elsewhere due to this glitch. Are there any super powers that can help find my island again, like maybe searching for enderchests in the area or something? [Special thanks to @_Razz for searching with me for an hour and change. If you have any blocks obstructing each side of the bed, You won't be able to respawn. However, sometimes it doesn't exactly work that way. Oh, which world is this in?
This is strange and I'm not really sure what would have caused the obstruction error. Unfortunately there is no simple way for me to do a search like you suggested. I have tried to generate an overhead map of SVS but with the map being so large, it has never worked. Sorry I don't have better news for you.
The good news, if any, is that if it's an island, the search can go quickly. You head out to about 24,000/79/-30,000 and look for water...except that certainly sounds like a lake, rather than ocean, with that elevation. If it's in the ocean, you can quarter the area really quickly.
Did you claim the area? If so, you can use /claimslist to bring up a list of all the coordinates of the areas you have claimed.
