This happens sometimes and the period of time before the server gets back online is ranged. It may be because the server's manually restarting, but try refreshing your multiplayer servers tab or restarting your game. Hope this helped! ~Gloss
Anyone else having problems right now getting on server.. It says, "connecting", but then comes up "Connection Lost" "Disconnected" Shows others are on... I can get on other servers.. I tried restarting, no luck...
I had the same problem last night, but only sandlot, not other servers. Not sure why IP address would provide better connection, but I will try it next time
It's complicated, but basically if the server you were in when you last disconnected crashes, when you try to reconnect, it won't work because it will try and connect you back to that server. Using the direct IP address will connect you to the lobby instead.
Cow...you are a server connectivity God....thank you for that clear and concise answer. I assume that at some point that offending server resets or clears memory? I ask because I tested this morning and I could log into UHC no problem. Perhaps UHC was down at the time I was trying to login last night?
Yes, that was most likely the problem. The servers are scheduled to restart automatically at 5am EST, so if you have connection issues that haven't been resolved, likely they will be after the restart.
Uhc crashed last night and I haven't got a chance to go on today so I assumed it was still offline. Sorry for the confusion.
