So I'm doing the same thing... going to multiplayer and the click "Sandlot" and then it runs like normal all of a sudden it gets darker and then BOOM!!! Then it crashes.
This is HostetlerHouse's dad... It works with 1.8 (though there is teleport issues there) but any version of 1.7 crashes with a crash report. It worked yesterday. @cowgod -- was there any changes last night/early this morning? I have a copy of the crash report, but I'm not sure that helps much.
To whom it may concern: StarWarsFan42 and I have finally figured this out. The short answer is: If you are running Ubuntu or any Linux version, make sure you have the latest video driver installed.
