    I think mods can clear it but otherwise you have to live with it.

    I would keep it except it's a paid benefit so you shouldn't still have it @c0wg0d

    Actually, some things DO carry over after your VIP expires. Things such as multiple homes and such remain, but just cannot be reset or reused. This is a subsidiary benefit of VIP. A pet hanging around is the same.

    We typically don't go out of our way to remove your pet after VIP expires, but I have reset pets on occasion, so there is no guarantee that you'll keep it forever.

    I think after a while, it will go away. Maybe not, but just wait and then see. If you want it gone and it doesn't go, contact a moderator that's online. If it still doesn't go away, or if mods aren't online when you enter, then I'm pretty sure there's a command to get rid of it. Just keep an eye out! ;)

    Just to be clear, the only way to remove the pet is by clearing the config where everyone's pet is restored. I am the only one that can do this, and it's a very low priority for me.
