You need to have an axe. It makes the axe do a heart (or 2 attack damage) with the kit.

I thought it made whatever axe you are using do as much damage as it's sword counterpart, like a wooden axe would do as much damage as a wooden sword?

The kit Viking does not come with an axe, but its purpose is for an axe only. The axe does a heart more damage than the sword same type of material (say, stone). Basically, Kit Viking allows you to deal more damage with a wooden axe, than a wooden sword.

Actually... wood axe = stone sword. stone axe = iron sword. Iron axe = diamond sword that does 8 attack damage

No, I was correct. It says, and I quote (one heart more attack damage than the sword of same type. That means two tiers, since the difference between each tier is half a heart, or one attack damage. You just got scienced!

    Wood axe = +3
wood axe - turns into wood sword - gets 4+ attack damage
    +1 = 5 attack damage = stone sword, right?

Wait, isn't that what golden said?

"One heart more attack damage than the sword of the SAME type." So a wooden axe would do a heart more damage than the wood sword, which is about a stone sword.

Not sure, but that's how I understood it.

No. A stone sword does half a heart more dog than a wood sword. An iron sword does on heart more dmg. Again: One attack dmg = half heart = one sword.

1 attack damage is half a heart. So 1 heart would be 2 attack damage. Wood sword=4+2=6 which would be an iron sword
