I can't log on to the Sandlot!!

Hi, I'm NBACswimgirl26. I have been taking a very long break from The Sandlot Minecraft Server, but now I am back on and want to play again on the server. It will not let me connect to the Server, and I have tried restarting it, I put in the Ip Address again and it didn't work. My Minecraft is 1.10.2 so it is updated. What should I do, because I really want to play on the Sandlot again.

Sandlot is not yet updated to 1.10 or 1.9.
You need to use 1.8 to play The Sandlot for now.

Quite simple. Open Minecraft Launcher
Look in the bottom left-hand corner. You should see a button that says edit profile. Click on that. Look around until you see version: (drop-box). Click on the drop-box and chose release 1.8.9 Finally, look in the bottom right-hand corner and you should see save profile.

Go into your Minecraft launcher, hit "edit profile" and select 1.8.9 from the "Use Version" list.
