I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem: A few days ago, all of a sudden there was about a two second delay between pressing a button and the action taking place. This morning, I noticed that it was worse. I was building a platform and my shift stopped working and I fell. I was able to get into chat, but when I typed the "h" in /is h, I randomly made something like 10 spaces so I lost everything I had on me.

Has anyone else had this problem, if so, how can it be fixed?

I have not encountered this problem. I don't know, hopefully someone else can help you.

At this point I've already lost 6 buckets and don't have any left, and when I type, sometimes it types in things I didn't type.

  4. Pippi, it sounds like lag or a stuttering connection. I would suspect your computer or connection first. Are you using wifi or a direct connection? If you're using wifi, and have the option, try plugging in directly to the modem or router (ask a parent to show you how) and see if that resolves the issue. If it does, your connection is the issue.

If that improves the performance, have a parent try to improve the wifi connection. If it doesn't, then either your connection to the Sandlot through the Internet is bad, or the Sandlot is lagging badly. Since multiple other players will normally complain, mans they haven't, it is likely your connection.

You can check your internet connection (not wifi to the Internet) by running a speed test from a hard connected computer (again, ask a parent). Another way to determine if you have a wifi issue, is run back to back speed tests from a hard connected computer and then your wifi computer and see the drop in speed there.

I updated my Java (I was about 50 updates behind), and that seems to have helped.

  6. That'll certainly do it!

I would recommend uninstalling Java and downloading then installing the latest Minecraft launcher. Java is packaged with Minecraft now and will always be the recommended version for your computer.
