We are newbies... Right clicks, etc. don't work for. We are trying to make a land claim using the shovel (tried command click) or the chest. Neither work. Nothing happens when we try and place these objects.
Definitely. I use a mac as well and experienced some of these when I first started Minecraft Click ESC on your keyboard > Options > Controls; click the controls you want to change until it has white arrows around it. Then, on your keyboard or mouse, press the button you want to use for that option. The 'Place Block' option is the right-click. I use E for my right-click. If you still have trouble, let me know
I have a Mac too, and there is an even easier solution. Go to System Preferences > Mouse and you will se a GUI of the standard apple mouse. Over the right-side of the mouse (the right-click) there is a selectable box that says Primary Button by default. Click on the box, and select Secondary Button from the drop-down menu that should appear. Hope this helps!
