I made an account on the Sandlot website, I got on Minecraft, put in the server ip and tried to jund and it said I wasn't whitelisted! What's the deal with that?
Did you submit a whitelist? If you did you have to wait up to 72 hours for it to be approved. If you didn't fill out a Whitelist.
It could take a few minutes for the whitelist to be accepted, even a few days maybe. When its done, it will notify you be e-mail, and you will be all ready to come online.
Sandlot is a whitelisted server so make sure you filled out this whitelist application: http://www.sandlotminecraft.com/index.php?pages/whitelistapp/ and then wait for your email that says you are able to join. (it's definitely worth it! P.S.
