Lag

Guys there is a lot of lag - every 10 mins I have to disconnect and rejoin. I'm wondering if it is to do with the server and you could fix it or is it just my PC?

i think that using 1.8 makes the game lag more but that may just be my computer so if you use the 1.7.10 profile it may reduce your lag.To do this go to discussion and the bottom sticky note the one titled:"Help! There's a new update and I can't join the server!" and follow what he says on there and i hope it helps.

You also might want to try Optifine. It's a mod that is allowed on most servers (including sandlot) and it improves minecraft lag a lot. You can get it at http://optifine.net

 

Optifine is only for 1.7.2, and 1.7.10 though. It hasn't been updated to 1.8 yet.
