Hi moderators, Recently my daughter changed her Minecraft name. Could you help change the name in the forums. When she plays now, she got kicked out of the game after a while. Is this the reason why she got kicked out because the name isn't sync? Please help. Thank you.
To sync your username/skin changes you just have to go to the lobby and they should sync. I am not a moderator so I can't be sure on the second question but I would assume this is a separate issue as I have changed my name before and never had any issues like that. Hope this helps!
In the launcher, does it say her updated username in the top left? If so, then she has to go into lobby in-game. I don't think that she's getting kicked out because it isn't synced, because forums isn't related to a player's ability to play in-game or not--I think. The best answer you can get is from a moderator, but I've changed my username loads and this problem hasn't happened to me before, even when it's not synced yet.
As others have already said, if you go to the lobby, the username will automatically update on the forums. The only time this doesn't happen is if you have not logged in to The Sandlot in a very long time and there's no record of your forums username matching your in-game Minecraft name. If you go to the lobby and then refresh the forums, the name should update. If it doesn't, I can further investigate if you tell me your previous and current Minecraft names.
