OptiFine is allowed here. I think shaders and a couple others are too; go to the search bar and type "allowed mods" or something like that to bring up previous posts about it.
w0w... OptiFine looks pretty awesome but unfortunately ever time I try to install a mod, my game almost breaks
I love the glass part but I had no idea it did that with sandstone!! and I see no difference in the bookshelves, lol
Look at the vertical lines of wood on the inner edges where the bookshelves join in the before picture. Those are gone, which makes it look like one big bookshelf.
It's easy to install optifine. All you do is go to optifine.net, click download, click the version you want, save it to desktop, run minecraft then X out of it, click the optifine folder on the desktop you just downloaded, then click it, and install it.
