Skins and capes

My daughter would like me to get her a skin or a cape. Could anyone let me know how I go about buying this for her?

You don't buy skins (I have no idea about capes) If you search 'minecraft skins', it will have several skin websites where you can go through with your daughter, I would visit the website before you show your daughter because some of them has inappropite ads. (So I've heard..)

 

i think most of the capes you can get are from participating in the Minecon event and a few other places

Mojang employees and minecon people get cape. But there are some exceptions.

 

If you get Optifine and donate they give you a cape but only other people with Optifine will see it.

 

I don't get it still.... how do u get a cape?

 

Try going to MineCon. Each year, they hold a Minecraft Convention in different spots in the U.S.A where you can get a cape from Mojang employees.
