Hello- If we changed the biome in our nether skyblock to ocean or forrest, is there a way to change it back/reset it? Thanks!
I haven't done that before. However, in the overworld, you had to go to spawn to make the biome change take effect. You might try that, if you have not already.
It was done by accident and now the Nether has overworld features like a blue sky. We are hoping we can just reset the biome there, which I think was the Nether wastes. We did change the biome in the overworld but that didn't seem to have an effect.
This has happened before, lately to Miadel7. Check various y levels of the nether, perhaps one part may remain. Or change. Or at least start behaving like nether despite the look.
Also, if I recall correctly, in Skyblock you can specify which portion of your island you want to change. Be sure that you are changing the entire area. This might address potential Y-level issues that KRiskKaT mentioned. And, always go to spawn after making a biome change. If that does not work, then one of the Admins might have an idea to help you. Unfortunately, our Skyblock plugin is old and not well maintained by the developer. I hope you can get this sorted. I know how frustrating it can be to make an accidental biome change.
Ok, we will try those suggestions. I don't know what plugins are installed, but hoping maybe and admin can run worldedit or similar as a last resort and restore the biome. Thanks!
After some testing, it looks like at least some features of a biome (if not all features) can be restored using world edit. Let me know when you can be online so we can test setting your nether region back to the nether biome.
