Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is now officially supported on The Sandlot!

    Bedrock players do not have attack cooldowns. This could become problematic when paired with keyboard and mouse.

    Since the server is still Java Edition, I do not believe this is the case. It may show that there are no cooldowns on the client (player) side, I don't believe they will register that way on the server side.

    More help needed from some of you geniuses, please.
    I’m trying to get this on the iPad for my kiddo but in the App Store it only has “Minecraft”, nothing that says Bedrock, no info related to bedrock in the explanation. I don’t really want to buy it for single player just to find out that it’s not the right version. Could it be that my iPad is older? It’s OS 16.5.

    Microsoft is really, really bad at naming things. Minecraft is the correct version. It is not officially called Bedrock Edition anymore. A while back they renamed Minecraft to Minecraft: Java Edition and then renamed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to just Minecraft. If you buy just "Minecraft" from the App Store, that is the correct version and you will be able to play on The Sandlot with that version! :)

    Bedrock loads chucks so slow on the sandlot, but mabye it is my internet im not sure...

    Mojang is working on this issue for the 1.20.2 update. Hopefully it will improve performance for everyone (Java and Bedrock).

    Well this is a good change and bedrock is harder than minecraft java that i think maybe @trubuhl is right i maybe when the next reset happends, i might play bedrock editon on my ipad to try it out!
