[Proxy] Lost Connection to Server

    Hey guys,
    I have been experiencing a problem where after about 3 seconds of being logged into Sandlot my game closes and the error: [Proxy] Lost Connection to Server pops up. This has been going on for pretty much the whole day and I was wondering if this is a server issue or just something that's wrong on my end?

    This is a server issue that is being addressed by c0wg0d.

    It is most prevalent in the lobby, HG, Arenas, and Easy servers.

    This is due to the legendary Proxy kick. It mostly happens in Lobby and Arenas, although sometimes in other worlds. c0w believes it is a bug with our chat plugin, where when someone says certain things, a random player gets Proxy kicked. There is an average of 10,000 Proxy kicks a day.

    Ah, my bad. Do you know of a way to temporally prevent/fix this? I'm unable to do /lobby or any of the commands used to exit the arenas as I'm being kicked from the game too fast. @LifeLearner

    No, I don't. But arenas will be taken down in a short while and that should automatically kick you to the lobby.

    Not a great answer, but try checking back in 10 minutes or so, and periodically after that.

    There is no way to prevent this, currently. You could either ask a mod to quickly summon you to another world, or you could use the number IP, which you should be able to find somewhere. I *think* the number IP should take you to either the place you last logged out on when using the number IP, or the Lobby if you haven't ever used it. Don't quote me on this, though.


    Oooooh... Life is right, you actually should be kicked from Arenas in a few minutes :p Although, the things listed above might help if it happens again.

    Yes it should be fixed even if we have to change chat plugin.

    I reverted to our old chat plugin for now, which seems to resolve the proxy kick issues.
