    I have the same problem, it always says my file is too large and must be 1 byte.
    My form name and MC name (both email addresses) are the same.

    The email addresses are not what need to match. It's your Minecraft name and your forum name that need to match. Your forum name is "Thomas Moore" which has a space, so that can't be your Minecraft name.

    Ok, I guess I need to add ti this thread...

    I changed my avatar and thought I could "refresh it" by clicking on my avatar...now it just went blank. I have tried logging off and back on again...but nothing.

    Is there anything I can do or will it just update at some regular time?

    If your Minecraft account name is MJRminer, I think it should fix itself eventually. If not I'll try and fix it.
