no I agree that elytra flying in the end being disabled would be brilliant - I spent two solid hours bridging from island to island just like many others did just to find empty ship after empty ship. It will also be nice though that there is no map of the resource worlds - would create a much greater challenge in finding them.
I agree with cheracc on this one - @lxvestruck_ and I spent about 2 hrs in the end looking for an elytra for her & didn’t find anything. I eventually bought one. It wasn’t pricey at all but still a little annoying that we spent a lot of time in there just to buy one.
There is going to be a way to obtain Elytra that is not dependent on being the first to get to the end cities. It will also be repeatable.
